Adventures is proud to announce two more sponsors for our Trans Africa
Expedition Stage II adventure. The Rover
Shop, based in Enfield CT USA has signed on to be our official pre-trip
vehicle inspection firm. The Rover Shop will be coordinating checks of all
vehicles prior to shipping to insure that they are all built to our rigid
standards and prepared for the harsh conditions they will need to endure. The
Rover Shop will also be available throughout the coming year to offer
assistance to all expedition vehicle owners in the daunting task of repairing,
modifying and equipping their trucks for the trip.
GPS Accessories, a wholly owned corporation of Drive The Globe Inc., will be the GPS
antenna supplier for all Stage II vehicles. GPS Accessories will be supplying
external mount amplified antennas as they did on Stage I. The use of GPS and
related electronic equipment is of significant importance to both the well
being of expedition participants and contributes immensely to the navigational
capabilities of our team.
