The 2018 Land Rover Muddy Chef Challenge was a weekend of unexpected adventure. A severe thunderstorm damaged our camp on Friday and threatened to derail the weekend but Land Rover enthusiasts can not be stopped that easily. Difficult flooded trails and plenty of adventure in and out of camp made for a memorable weekend of fun.

The 7th Edition of the Land Rover Muddy Chef Challenge began with a bang- a bang of thunder that is. Friday was marked by a severe storm that badly damaged our camp village. A handful of Land Rover aficionados got together with the crazy idea that off-roading could be combined with a vehicle based gourmet cooking challenge and the Muddy Chef Challenge was born.

A Mercedes Unimog, a Toyota Tacoma & 7 Land Rovers, including a rare forward control 101 battle the flooded and storm damaged trails of Southern Vermont. The expert off road challenge at this years 7th edition of The Muddy Chef Challenge was one tough road after a severe thunderstorm & nearly six inches of rain swept through the region.
