Eric and Neal are determined to reach Edmonton to join the rest of the group on time. Now dubbed the Cannonball Run gang they have resorted to driving all night long. Neal has been updating Drive The Globe via Windows Mobile Phone. The following are emails received so far….

Can I get mobile phone numbers for contact as we progress?

We are still planning on being there after losing a head gasket yesterday.

Things went really wrong.

Put new viscous unit in, pulled water pump, pressure testing, hours of diagnostics.

Heads are at machine shop.

The towing company was called "Lethal Towing".

Go figure. We have pics of the truck on the roll-off.

Will be funny one day, I hope.

We should be on our way soon  Radiator clogged.

Will do more once we are on the road.

Eric drove through of the night.

I tried to help, however after about an hour had

to give up.  We stopped on the side if the road

about 1 hour and we had to stop.

Were back on the road, about 1 hour south of Chicago.
